Exterior electrical outlet with on/off switch

It Seals very well and is very well constructed. The only issue I have is how much space you have for your plug head. It should be clear that you need a 90 flat cord head, that is thin, otherwise you cannot close the door.

Works well so far

Wanted on outdoor outlet for my backyard extension cord, something I could leave outside especially during inclement weather. Seems to be doing the job so far. Will revise if any issues come up.

Junction box

This box solved my lighting problem. Rather than stooping to turn lights on and off, we now have a box with switches and no longer have to plug the lights in. It is weather proof and conveniently located.

The plugs are too loose

The only complaint is, I had to glue the plugs in that I were not using. They kept falling out design it to where they stay in better or to where you have to break them loose to get them out but otherwise excellent product so far thank you

Great design

Worked perfectly. Only downside is the screws that seal the faceplate on after mounting are very delicate.

Questions fréquentes

Is this outdoor power outlet waterproof?
The outlet features an IP66-rated enclosure designed to help protect against dust and powerful water jets when properly installed and securely closed. It is not designed for underwater use. Ensure the cover, seals, and cable glands are correctly secured.
Can I control the two outlets separately?
Yes. This 2-gang outdoor outlet includes two independent ON/OFF switches, allowing you to control each socket separately. The red indicator lights make it easy to check the switch status.
Does this outdoor electrical outlet have built-in GFCI protection?
No. This product does not have built-in GFCI protection. Outdoor electrical installations may require GFCI protection under applicable electrical codes. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.
Will the protective cover fit standard US plugs?
The outlet features a deep protective cover designed to accommodate a range of compatible US plugs. However, oversized adapters and some straight plug designs may prevent the lid from closing completely. Check your plug dimensions and cord direction before purchasing.
Where can I install this weatherproof outdoor outlet?
It can be considered for suitable locations such as patios, garages, sheds, gardens, and outdoor workshops. Installation must comply with local electrical codes and any applicable location-specific requirements.
What installation accessories come with the outdoor outlet?
The package includes the double outdoor outlet, mounting screws, expansion anchors, cable connectors, cable clips, ferrule terminals, waterproof sealing pads, and an installation guide. Hardwired electrical installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.
