Very impressed with this low priced kit. Paid about 17 for it. I've been repairing electronics for over 30 years, so many years of experience with various irons and stations. One of the most important things to me is the tip: Does it continue to clean easy? Does it begin disintegrating? I am very impressed with the tip. I actually clean mine with a little solder as it heats. Wipe the tip with solder until it easily flows on the tip. It has been a few weeks of daily use and the tip is still like new.Iron temperature: Next is controlling temperature. Too hot and traces on boards come loose easily. Too cool or not enough power and large solder connections get very hard to melt. This iron is very controllable for small work and enough power when the temp is turned up high to melt tuff large connections. Just give it a little time to heat it up.The accessories like the solder remover is cheap, but actually works ok. Trigger gets a bit flaky after some use, but still usable. Not a solder sucker for intense daily work, but fine if your just using it now and then. The wire stripper surprised me with its ease of use. Then you have a nice case to hold everything. Solder and soft Flux is a nice toss in as well. Tweezers are flimsy...but seriously...who cares.Basically, for the price, it is a truly great deal! Buy it, use it, enjoy.
This soldering kit has everything needed to get started with electronics repairs and small DIY projects. The iron heats up quickly, and the LCD display makes it easy to set and monitor the temperature. I like the adjustable temperature range, which gives more control when working with different materials. The included accessories are useful and help make the kit feel complete right out of the box. Overall, it's a great value and a reliable tool for both beginners and hobbyists.
Works great, nice case and as described
I've used this little thing several times now and so far it's been great. I can't figure out how to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, but I also can't see the tiny little print that came with it. The iron works fine, actually more than fine. I use it working on model trains, Lionel, American Flyer and I would use it on HO and N scale too if need be. It gets hot fast. Small enough not to be in the way. Time will tell, but so far so good.
Works great with plenty of versatile options.

Got this to start out soldering and it has been great so far. My only complaint however is the solder included doesn't seem to be too high quality, but it will still work for simple stuff. Overall great product for the price
The kit is overall good, but the solder itself is terrible. I would suggest getting Kester 44 or another comparable solder.
Good
The LED light source was everything as advertised. Fit my microscope's light recepticle perfectly. And is nice and bright.
The kit was everything I expected it to be. Can't wait to use it
Great set for what I needed to get done. No issues
Works great. A lot of extras included. Easy to use. Great value melting performance is good. Very durable. Very lightweight
I originally needed a soldering iron for one repair, but this kit comes with enough accessories that I've already found other little projects to use it on.The digital temperature display is a big improvement over the really basic soldering irons that just plug in and get hot. Being able to adjust the temperature gives you more control depending on what you're working on. It also heats up quickly.Getting solder, flux, multiple tips, tweezers, a stand and a desoldering pump together means a beginner doesn't immediately have to order five other things before starting. The included stand is pretty basic, but it works. For the money, I was more impressed by how much useful stuff was included in one kit.
